Inspection services:
All bulk handling at loading - transhipment - discharge operations
requires to maintain quality within
commercial product standards.
Influence of previous cargoes and its effect as additional contamination
to next cargo is our main target.
We - Inpechem Inspectors - already gives advises / recommendations,
prior ever a ship is chartered, especially to fine
alcohols as methanol - ethylalcohol - propanol - Mono Ethylene Glycol
fibre grade - Mono Propylene USP grade.
Our advises are widely used as instructions to Captains and /or
Chief Officers.
Our services are there to accept tanks and lines.
We only reject tank(s) and lines for a definite reason to protect
product quality.
Any rejection can be full style explained and verified / witnessed
by Chief Officer and / or
Loading Master at terminal.

Wall wash inspection:
We have all procedures in writing as an aim for uniform instructions
to our surveyors' staff:
- for testing to be performed at site
- for testing to be performed at our laboratory
Example: A cargo with previous cargo of vegetable oils for
loading
fine chemicals as methanol - beverage alcohol - isopropanol -
acetone - MEG fg - MPG USP
- wall wash with methylethylketone (good solvent)
- no wall wash with methanol (none solvent)
- at ship visual inspection of wall wash, witnessed by C/O
- at ship modified watermiscibility method according in house
method
witnessed by C/O
- at our laboratory testing for Non Volatile Matter
Example: A cargo with previous cargo of inhibited chemicals
for loading
fine chemicals as alcohols, ketones and glycols.
Inhibitors as p-BTC, HQ and MEHQ are killers to Permanganate
Time Testing - PTT.
The absence of inhibitors can be proven by comparing the methanol
prior wall wash (blanc) with the wall wash after inspection.
On-time performance in order to not delay ships-operation:
As an example to loading, every job is on-time done by acting in
advance on-time.
- shore tank sampling and analysis prior loading
- ships' cargotank inspection at earliest opportunity in port
- line fill from shore tank to jetty, followed by sampling and
testing whilst vessel
is on her way to arrive at terminal.
- the loading operation as such.
We avoid any demurrage by close coordination with ships agent and
with terminal
planning and Loading Master.
An other example can be board to board transhipment from barge
to ocean vessel:
- barge sampling and analysis at earliest opportunity arriving
in port by being in
contact with barge operator and later with direct telephone access
to Barge
Captain.
- on-time inspection of shipstank(s) at earliest opportunity
in port
- physical transhipment
